Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs or cats.   We do require an approved application before setting up a meet and greet with a foster family.  The only exception to this would be if you meet at a scheduled adoption event.   When we receive your application we will begin to call references.  Once all references are checked, we will notify you as to whether or not your application has been approved.  After you have been approved we will schedule a time for you to meet your potential new family member.  If the meeting goes well we can complete the adoption paperwork.  A home visit is required before or at the time of the adoption.  Because we do want our dogs/cats to go to the right, forever, home it is not always guaranteed that you will be approved for the pet you have applied for.  In this case, we will work with you so that the right match for everyone is made.  We do work with other rescues and shelters so if we do not currently have what you are looking for we can possibly help you find it elsewhere.

Adoption Fees

Dog Adoption Fee:

$450 unless otherwise discussed

Our dogs are (age appropriately) vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Heartworm tested, Spayed or Neutered, and Microchipped

All of our adopted dogs are entitled to free training consultations for the life of the dog.

Cat Adoption Fee:

 $125 for 1 or $150 for 2

Our cats are vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, FELV/FIV tested, Spayed or Neutered, and Microchipped

Fees may be higher or lower depending upon each pet's situation. We do not receive any funding and rely on adoption fees to be able to continue the work that we do.

These fees cover only a fraction of what we spend to take care of the animals that we take in. Several of our dogs have needed heartworm treatment, and both cats and dogs have needed expensive surgeries to improve their quality of life, and in some cases, to save their life. Please also keep in mid that we have to pay for food and cat litter on a regular basis, not to mention supplies such as crates, bedding and anything else our animals could possibly need.

If you think our prices are too high do some research. Contact local vets and find out their prices, you may be surprised.
